This book traces the journey of Hamilton Perkins Collection from a single recycled bag to a full-scale archive of circular design in motion.
What began with billboard vinyl and plastic water bottles became a collection — first launched on Kickstarter, where we hit our $10,000 goal in six days and closed at over $25,000 in preorders.
Since then, Hamilton Perkins Collection has been featured in Forbes, Fast Company, The Washington Post, and WWD, while collaborating with over 20 Fortune 500 clients.
But we weren’t satisfied with the existing limits of upcycling.
So we built our own.
We brought in polymer scientists and circular experts to develop a proprietary technology that transforms hard-to-recycle waste streams into high-value, sustainable textiles.
The result is not just a brand, but a system — backed by Pharrell Williams, HPE Foundation, Techstars, Better Ventures, Google for Startups, Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator, Draper Family Foundation, and more.
This is the printed archive of that journey: product, prototypes, material studies, and commentary from inside the process.
