The Museum Of The American Revolution gave us the task of creating a powerful collection of bags that would allow guests to carry the experience of the museum with them after leaving. Using actual fabric from the museum, we imagined actual materials that the museum might normally throw away converted into an artisan crafted branded bag available for purchase.

The Museum Of The American Revolution gave us the task of creating a powerful collection of bags that would allow guests to carry the experience of the museum with them after leaving. Using actual fabric from the museum, we imagined actual materials that the museum might normally throw away converted into an artisan crafted branded bag available for purchase.

These bags are soft but structured. The canvas is made from recycled plastic water bottles. By adding accents to the bags made from fabric signs shows an innovative and disruptive way of repackaging the signs. This makes The Museum Of The American Revolution one of the first museums to do it.

The added benefits of this project are the emotional storytelling and communication that result from the bags being made from the museum signs. This cuts through in a busy world where making a brand that captures attention is challenging and takes a lot of shots to achieve.

This project represents a multi-faceted brand collaboration that brings value to the end consumer. The benefits of this work include:

The design of the product was all completed in house. We have approximately 12 shapes in our company but we are not limited by these templates. We can always develop new styles and patterns from scratch if needed. Many of our bags have already proven positive sell through and product market fit so it is convenient to add something new to an existing style.
