Sustainable School Spirit: A Case Study Of Our Nostalgia-Inducing Collab With Norfolk Collegiate

We’re itching to share our nostalgia-inducing collab with Norfolk Collegiate, a one-of-a-kind collection that took us right back to the thrill of high school sports 🔙🏀🏈

We’re always looking for fresh new challenges that prove the thesis of our mission: any and every organization can make their next merch order from upcycled trash ♻️

From grade schools to Fortune 500s, untapped resources can be found everywhere.

Here’s how this vision came to fruition at Norfolk Collegiate:

The Event: Norfolk Collegiate, a private pre-k through Grade 12 school in Virginia, needed a line of custom merch to celebrate the institution’s 75th anniversary. And not just any drop would do – they needed something that mirrored the creativity and community spirit that makes Norfolk so special 🏫 

The Material: Over the years, Norfolk’s athletic department accumulated tons of pieces they couldn’t find a use for, including retired uniforms, jerseys, signage, and athletic seating. With such beautiful colors and fond memories attached to each item, throwing them away didn’t feel right 🤔

The Final Product: As soon as we saw these discarded materials, we knew we’d have no problem dreaming up a second life for each. Even better, there was SO much to work with – we were able to create an entire line of Earth Bags Premiums, Earth Bag Lites, Earth Bag Totes, and Earth Bag Jumbos ✂️ 

Talk about a haul! Alumni, fans, and students have been loving these insanely unique commemorative bags.

Even better, their upcycled status is doing wonders for the school’s sustainability initiatives 🌍
